Toolpusher Records' Jason Sturgeon Performs at CMA Music Fest & Pensacola Naval Air Station
Toolpusher Records' Jason Sturgeon spent last week in Nashville, meeting and greeting fans at CMA Music Festival, but not before performing in front of a crowd of 13,000 at the "Summer Salute V Concert" presented by WCTY- CAT Country 98.7 in Pensacola, FL. Sturgeon performed at the Naval Air Station on the same bill as Diamond Rio. The show was free to the military, Department of Defense employees and their families.

"Performing for the military men and women and their families in Pensacola was such an honor for me. It's important to me be able to thank them for their service to our country, “says Sturgeon.
Following his appearance in Pensacola, Sturgeon headed straight to Nashville, TN to help kick off one of Music City's biggest events, CMA Music Festival. As a participant in the Eighth Annual CMA Music Festival Parade, sponsored by Chevy, Sturgeon was featured in a Chevy Silverado truck, where he posed for photos and gave shout-outs to the throngs of country fans along the parade route. He also competed in theField & Stream Total Outdoorsman Challenge, showing his prowess in outdoor sports, where he placed 4th in the event for his impressive archery skills and use of primitive weapons.
"The Total Outdoorsman Challenge was a blast!! That was the most fun I've ever had working!!" Jason said.
Rounding out his 2012 CMA Music Festival, Sturgeon visited with radio stations at the Music Row LIVE radio remote where he talked about his forthcoming record and his new single, "Time Bomb," which is currently climbing the Country charts.
The fun continued for Sturgeon, who has more than one million views on his YouTube page; as he left Nashville and headed to Wheatland, MO to the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series where he performed for thousands of racing fans at the event which benefitted Protect The Harvest.
